These experiments compare different rendering approaches across different concepts. They are not a controlled benchmark of equivalent scenes.
| Experiment | Approach | What it adds | Complexity / fallback |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chemistry | Interactive SVG | Exact link between piston, needle and inverse curve. | Particle masking and moving mounts; SVG throughout. |
| Physics | SVG + WebGL | A continuous, source-driven wave field with field-derived normals. | Registered camera and layers; sampled SVG surface fallback. |
| Geometry | Anatomy TURN + convex geometry | True rotation, opaque occlusion and computed cut surfaces. | Oblique clipping adapter; fixed 2D section remains readable. |
Physics rendering is initialized when its experiment opens.
Device ratio is capped at 1.5 for the water surface. Inactive and offscreen experiments suspend their animation. Reduced motion starts paused and supports deliberate steps.
